Stevens AI Traffic for Microsoft FS2004

The purpose of this zip file is to bring your Stevens VA traffic into your Flight Simulator. You will see the original registered Stevens aircraft at all airports we operate at the operating day and time!
Watch up to 6 747-400 at a time at the homebase Cologne.
Compare the traffic situation with the aircraft rotations of Stevens. You will see - it matches!

You don't need to install anything, just copy 4 files and you have it all!

PAI B744FV2 is the complete Project AI folder including model and textures for the Boeing 747-400F (Freighter) version 2.

PAI B744V2 is the complete Project AI folder including model and textures for the Boeing 747-400 (PAX) version 2.

AF2_EDDK.bgl is the updated AFCAD file for the airport Cologne (EDDK) with realistic taxiways and all updated parking stands and - most important - with designated Stevens parking stands.

Traffic_STV_D-ASCA.bgl through Traffic_STV_D-ASSS.bgl are the files including all flightplans, aircraft and airports of the Stevens VA 2007 Timetable, valid January 9th 2007.
New to the previous Stevens AI traffic is that you now have seperate .bgl files for each Stevens aircraft. That brings more flexibility, i.e. you'd like to perform a flight with D-ASSC within the Stevens schedule. You will see also parallel the AI traffic with your aircraft. You can now  remove the Traffic_STV_D-ASSC.bgl for this flight and you don't have double traffic in your sim!
Another advantage is operational. If Stevens stores an aircraft in the desert, you just remove the corresponding .bgl file and you are up to date and have all other STV AI traffic still around you. This corresponds to D-ASSA and D-ASSB, which will be converted to freighter in 2009. D-ASSI is also not there since this is a spare aircraft.
With the complete and single .bgl file you just have all Stevens planes or none!
Since you are not limited with .bgl files for your AI traffic, splitting .bgl is more framerate friendly, because the files are smaller and the AI machine only reads the small files it need to display the traffic.

INSTALLATION:

Unzip the STV_AI_winter_2006.zip file to a temporary folder of your choice.

Copy the folder PAI B744FV2 and PAI B744V2 into your Flight Simulator 2004 Aircraft folder.
Route Example: C:\Programme\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\Aircraft\

If you have installed the Project AI B744 and B744F v2 already, overwrite the existing folder. You won't delete anything, it will just be added!
The Aircraft.cfg includes only the STV aircraft. If you have installed other liveries, you must add the Stevens entries with their respective texture number accordingly.

Copy the AF2_EDDK.bgl into the ADDON SCENERY folder of your FS2004.
Route Example: C:\Programme\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\Addon Scenery\Scenery\

Copy all the Traffic_STV_*.bgl into the WORLD\SCENERY folder of your FS2004.
Route Example: C:\Programme\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\Scenery\World\scenery\

Note: If you have already AI traffic of different sources in your FS2004, don't worry, the Traffic_STV.bgl just adds the Stevens AI traffic to your existing traffic! You don't lose anything.

Remove the Traffic_STV.bgl of the previous schedule period, otherwise you have double Stevens flights, summer and winter schedules together. 

To get the silver shiny look of our Stevens aircraft, please check "Reflections" on in your FS2004 Options Aircraft menu.
